About The Position

Touchmark at Georgetown is hiring full-time Medication Aides (Med Techs) to support residents in its assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. The role involves applying medication administration knowledge and procedures to help ensure residents receive dignified, high-quality care. Medication Aides are expected to be a positive presence for residents and their family members and to provide assistance and emotional support using the Best Friends Approach to dementia care.

Touchmark at Georgetown is a senior living community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Available shifts are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of Med Tech experience.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.

• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to medication administration procedures.
• Help ensure residents in assisted living and memory care receive dignified, high-quality care.
• Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friends Approach to dementia care.
• Be a positive presence for residents and their family members.
• Model Touchmark’s values and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient, tactful composure when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
