About The Position

Touchmark at Georgetown is hiring a full-time Medication Aide (Med Tech) to support residents in its assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. The role uses experience and knowledge of medication administration procedures to help ensure residents receive dignified, high-quality care. The position also involves being a positive presence for residents and their family members, providing assistance and emotional support using the Best Friends Approach to dementia care, and interacting tactfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors. Available shifts are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of Med Tech experience.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with medication administration procedures.
