About The Position

Clarendale of Chandler is seeking an outstanding Medication Aide to support residents in a senior living community. The role provides personal care, assistance with meals, planned activities, and timely responses to call lights and emergencies. The Medication Aide completes and documents assigned shift duties and communicates with residents, families, department heads, and the Director of Resident Services as needed.

Requirements

• Medication Aide Certification required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience working as a Med Tech or HHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinence care, and foot care.
• Take vital signs and check height and weight according to policy.
• Assist residents at mealtimes, including cutting food and encouraging them to eat.
• Complete and document assigned shift duties; report any duties that cannot be completed to the nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, department heads, and the Director of Resident Services as needed.
• Provide activities as planned or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
