About The Position

The Medicare Specialist is responsible for assisting prospective and existing members with Medicare plan education, enrollment support, and ongoing customer service. This role serves as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking guidance on Medicare products and coverage options while ensuring a high-quality member experience. The position exists to drive enrollment growth, support retention efforts, cross-selling, and build trusted relationships through accurate product knowledge and effective communication.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Active health insurance license (or ability to obtain and maintain licensure as required)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and explain Medicare products clearly
Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage sensitive or confidential information professionally
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate documentation and enrollment processing
Ability to meet established production, quality, and performance expectations consistently

Nice To Haves

associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience in Medicare sales, health insurance, customer service, or inside sales preferred

Responsibilities
