About The Position

Health Insurance Alliance (HIA) is seeking a motivated Licensed Medicare Agent to join their growing, technology-focused insurance sales company. HIA emphasizes providing quality service with a seamless client experience and understanding client needs to offer the best healthcare products. Agents are provided with high-quality, self-generated leads through an innovative in-house marketing team, with significant weekly investment in leads and marketing per agent. A dedicated team of Future Agents (Fronters/Qualifiers) pre-qualifies leads for interest and budget before they reach the sales team, ensuring high-quality contacts. As a Medicare Agent, you will assist individuals with Medicare inquiries, provide information, and facilitate enrollment and sales processes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in the Medicare Insurance sales industry
  • Obtained a valid 215 license or 240 license in the state of Florida or more.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail oriented person with strong active listening skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking capabilities.
  • Thrive in sales and closing deals.
  • Ability to think on your feet and take direction very well.
  • Highly motivated in your own success.
  • Keep up to date with best sales practices and can contribute to our high-energy sales discussion board where everyone participates throughout the day.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly company-wide meetings on Zoom.
  • Always remain courteous and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inbound and/or assigned Medicare sales calls with consumers in a professional, consultative, and compliant manner.
  • Educate consumers regarding Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, and other approved Medicare-related products.
  • Conduct thorough needs-based assessments to understand the consumer’s healthcare, prescription, provider, financial, and coverage needs.
  • Identify appropriate plan solutions based on the consumer’s individual circumstances and eligibility.
  • Complete accurate and compliant enrollments in accordance with CMS, carrier, and company requirements.
  • Effectively explain plan benefits, limitations, costs, networks, formularies, and other material plan information.
  • Utilize approved sales scripts, disclosures, disclaimers, and enrollment procedures.
  • Maintain strong conversion and close rates while prioritizing consumer needs and compliance.
  • Maintain high-quality call performance and meet established Quality Assurance standards.
  • Accept coaching and implement feedback related to compliance, sales performance, communication, and call quality.
