About The Position

Health Insurance Alliance (HIA) is looking for a highly motivated Licensed Medicare Agent to join our dynamic team.  We are a rapidly growing technology focused Insurance sales company whose employees maintain a competitive nature and a desire to succeed above all. A great salesperson without quality leads is like a great musician without an instrument to play. That is why we take pride in the quality of our leads.  We generate the highest quality contacts by way of our in-house marketing organization. We spend, on average, over $10,000 per week per agent on leads and marketing. We have an intricate lead distribution network and a solid team of Future Agents (Fronters/ Qualifiers) that sift through all of our generated data, producing fresh and warm fronts that are pre-qualified for interest and budget to our sales team all day long. You will not get higher-quality contacts elsewhere, that is guaranteed! As a Medicare Agent you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their Medicare-related inquiries, providing information, and facilitating the enrollment and sales process. Requirements

  • You have demonstrated experience in the Medicare Insurance sales industry doing full releases and selling supplements.
  • You have obtained a valid 215 license or 240 license in the state of Florida or more.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • You are a detail oriented person with strong active listening skills.
  • You have exceptional organizational skills and multitasking capabilities.
  • You thrive in sales and closing deals.
  • You will have to be able to think on your feet and take direction very well. This is a fast-paced sales position.
  • You are highly motivated in your own success - We provide you with the tools, but it is ultimately up to you to use them.
  • You keep up to date with best sales practices and can contribute to our high-energy sales discussion board where everyone participates throughout the day. As well as participate in weekly team meetings and monthly company-wide meetings on Zoom.
  • You always remain courteous and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • You will be a part of a lean Medicare Sales Team in an onsite call center environment.
  • You will create effective sales presentations using a script to provide available products that we offer in Medicare over the phone.
  • You will be in contact with customers interested in discussing their Medicare insurance options and guiding them to make the right decision based on their needs and budget. 
  • You will upsell supplements in addition to a Medicare plan, including stand-alone dental
  • You will be the subject matter expert in our policies and be able to simplify the process for customers to understand.
  • You will be the main point of contact to close deals, collecting confidential personal information to make the final enrollment and sale.
