About The Position

This entry-level role involves ensuring student well-being by accompanying them on medical appointments, providing safe transportation, facilitating communication between nursing staff and medical professionals, and offering personal care and instructional support. The role also includes maintaining the cleanliness of vans, accepting feedback, attending meetings and trainings, and implementing positive behavior support practices. When not transporting students, the aide will work in a classroom as a Teacher's Aide, providing direct care, assisting with educational and therapeutic services, and contributing to student progress evaluations. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Pass a background check
Pass a drug screening
Pass a tuberculosis (TB) test

Responsibilities

Provide safe transportation for students to medical appointments.

Offer personal care and instructional support to students unable to attend class due to illness.
Contribute to the cleanliness of the vans.
