About The Position
The Medical Technologist works in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide timely and accurate laboratory results in support of patient care. The position is PRN at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related area of specialty, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education providing comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- For individuals educated outside the United States, an equivalency statement from a business dedicated to this service must show education equivalent to the stated requirements.
- Certification/registration or eligibility for certification/registry as a Medical Technologist is required.
- ASCP certifications received after January 2004 and AMT certifications received after January 2006 must be kept current through continuing education required by the respective associations.
- Certified Medical Technologist work experience.
