About The Position

At Princeton Medical Group, P.A., the mission is to deliver excellent medical care with compassion. It is a private medical practice with over 35 providers and 9 medical specialties. The group is seeking dedicated and motivated employees to join its dynamic and growing team, specifically a part-time Medical Technician/Technologist for the Lab Department.

Requirements

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited school and ASCP or equivalent certification
One year of clinical medical technician/technologist experience.
Good verbal and written communication.
Knowledge and proficiency in uranalysis, hematology and chemistry.
Good listening skills.
Excellent computer skills
Proof Of COVID-19 vaccination is required upon hire
Pre-employment drug screen is required
Pre-employment professional reference check is required
BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology or Associates degree in Laboratory Science

Responsibilities

Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures
Follow CLIA, HIPPA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
Review and release test results.
Workspace organization.
Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct the problems encountered or notify laboratory manager.
Prepare urine, blood, and fluid for testing and analysis.
Provide all necessary technical support to ensure the continued effective lab operations.
