About The Position
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, the Medical Technologist collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide timely and accurate laboratory results in support of patient care. The role is at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a 294-bed full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas. The hospital provides services including Level III Trauma, NICU, and Maternal Care and is recognized for nursing excellence and workplace culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related area of specialty, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education that provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- For individuals educated outside the United States, an equivalency statement from a business dedicated to education translation showing equivalence to the stated education requirements.
- Certification/registration or eligibility for certification/registration as a Medical Technologist.
- ASCP certifications received after January 2004 and AMT certifications received after January 2006 must be kept current through continuing education required by the respective associations.
- Certified Medical Technologist work experience.
