About The Position

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, the Medical Technologist collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide timely and accurate laboratory results and the best possible patient care. The role is based at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas. The center provides services including Level III Trauma, NICU, and Maternal Care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related area of specialty, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education demonstrating comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• For individuals educated outside the United States, provide an education equivalency statement from a business dedicated to this service showing equivalence to the stated education requirements.
• Certification/registration or eligibility for certification/registration as a Medical Technologist is required.
• ASCP certifications received after January 2004 and AMT certifications received after January 2006 must be kept current through continuing education as required by the respective associations.
• Certified Medical Technologist work experience.
