Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. Requirements

• Florida State License as Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor required
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• BS degree in Medical Technology or equivalent with proper certification by the Board of Registry (ASCP) or NCA is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as medical technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures.
• Utilizes accepted quality control techniques by manual, semi-automated, or automated methodologies and equipment.
• Performs phlebotomy procedures and assists in other laboratory activities as requested.
• Performs Section Head Duties when Section Head is not available.
• The Medical Technologist is competent in providing direct care to patients within the following age brackets: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
