About The Position

Coulee Medical Center is seeking a night-shift Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory testing, maintaining quality and accuracy of results, and supporting excellent patient care. This position works closely with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and reliable results, in accordance with CMC’s Mission, Vision and Values. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, team-focused, and committed to quality patient care, with the ability to work independently on night-shift and in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Requirements

  • National Certification as a Medical Technologist in the specialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Serology and Microbiology (for MT/MLS Candidates)
  • Graduate of a baccalaureate program in Medical Technology with certification through a nationally recognized organization (ASCP and/or AMT) (for MT/MLS Candidates)
  • Washington State Medical Assistance License for Phlebotomy within 90 days of start date (for MT/MLS Candidates)
  • BLS certificate required (for MT/MLS Candidates)
  • National Certification as a Medical Technician (MLT) (for MLT Candidates)
  • Associates degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician from an accredited college or university, including one year of clinical training with certification through a nationally recognized organization (ASCP or AMT) (for MLT Candidates)
  • Washington State Medical Assistance License for Phlebotomy within 90 days of start date (for MLT Candidates)
  • BLS certification (for MLT Candidates)
