The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, providing quality and rapid lab results involving knowledge of laboratory analyses, proper procedures, work equipment, and safety procedures. This role requires adherence to laboratory procedures for specimen collection, handling, processing, test analyses, reporting, and record maintenance. The Medical Technologist/Technician will also be responsible for ordering supplies, assisting medical staff with patient care, handling requests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Continuous learning through mandatory training and staff meetings is expected, along with flexibility to work at any center and assist as needed. Proficiency in the medical record system and collaboration with colleagues during training are also key aspects of this position.
