About The Position
The Medical Surgical Technician works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs patient care duties according to the needs of the patient population. The technician conducts hourly rounds to support patient well-being and helps create a comforting and secure environment for patients and visitors.
Requirements
- Nursing Assistant certification in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient vital signs.
- Bathe, feed, dress, transport, and groom patients based on their needs.
- Conduct hourly rounds to ensure patient well-being.
- Create a comforting and secure environment for patients and visitors.
