About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical facility. The nurse will assess and monitor patients, implement appropriate interventions, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, educate patients and families, and accurately document care and progress in electronic medical records. The position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with alternating weekends. The nurse must be able to manage a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and reside at a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Must reside at a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Ability to manage a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1.

- Experience with the Cerner electronic health record system.
