About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position on the 7 North-Spine unit in Englewood, CO. The unit has 18-20 beds and a staff of 35. The staffing model includes charge nurses, nurses, LPNs, and PCTs for both day and night shifts. The patient ratio is 6:1 with an LPN. Equipment includes Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Meditech. The unit offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology in a collaborative environment with experienced staff. Various scheduling options may be available to accommodate professional growth and work-life balance.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year current hospital Med/Surg experience
- BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Burn Care experience
- Wound Care and Ostomy Care experience
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Wound and dressing care for post-operative burn and flap patients
