About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position will require dedicated night shifts with weekend commitments and the flexibility to float within designated zones as needed.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.
- Experience with common medical diagnoses, such as abdominal pain, chest pain, dyspnea, and injuries.
- Skilled in managing various medication drips including cardiac, antihypertensive, and sedation therapy.

- Flexibility to float within designated zones as needed.
- This role may require floating to other units based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain detailed patient records.
- Manage intravenous (IV) therapy and other non-invasive procedures.
- Participate in emergency response activities and assist in patient stabilization.
- Support clinical staff through active communication and teamwork.
