Requirements

• Two years of medical credentialing experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Cactus, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications.
• May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and health plan credentialing, re-credentialing and enrollment process; licensure requirements and regulations of various agencies such as the board of Registration in Medicine, American Board of Medical Specialties and Individual Specialty Boards.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and maintaining hospital privileges, government and commercial health plan membership and assisting in enrollment issues.
• Working closely with new and existing providers, Practice Coordinators and related departments to collect all items needed to obtain and maintain all provider privileges and enrollment.
• Meeting timelines for new providers.
• Working with various agencies to obtain and maintain licensing for providers including state medical licensure, DEA certificate, CPR certification, tracking and maintaining CME, delineation of privileges, maintaining case logs, etc.
