Requirements
- High School Diploma required for all new hires starting 4/1/2014
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years in general or healthcare office, preferred.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, preferred.
- Must exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical staff services department and/or acute care hospital experience, preferred.
- College degree, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performing various office and clerical duties relating to Medical Staff activities and functions.
- Understanding and following instructions on department policies and procedures.
- Developing a working knowledge of the medical staff credentialing process.
- Assisting with medical staff meeting preparations.
- Assisting the Supervisor(s) and Coordinator(s) in meeting the day-to-day needs of the Medical Staff Office.
