About The Position

The Medical Scribe will prepare patient charts and documentation for Interdisciplinary Team Meetings. They will assist with facilitating and timekeeping of these meetings, and scribe for them, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation practices. Upon completion of IDT Meetings, the scribe will ensure the Electronic Medical Record is complete and all documentation requirements are met. This role also involves distributing needed follow-up documentation, assisting with CTI completion and tracking, and gathering additional records as needed. The scribe will also assist with Medical Record tasks and initiatives, and must be flexible, organized, and able to work effectively and professionally under stress. Demonstrating compassion, empathy, and patience when interacting with patients, families, co-workers, and the public is essential. The role requires representing Circle of Life to the community in a positive manner and demonstrating flexibility, versatility, and a positive attitude in integrating additional duties. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Must have strong knowledge of administrative processes.
  • Have experience in an office setting, preferably healthcare.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Scribe licensure and training.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patient charts and documentation for Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
  • Assist with facilitating and timekeeping of Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
  • Scribes for Interdisciplinary Team Meetings ensuring accurate and compliant documentation practices.
