About The Position

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Scribe to capture patient clinical information and accurately document it in the electronic medical record. The role supports efficient office operations, improved clinical outcomes, reduced patient wait times, and an excellent patient service experience. The Medical Scribe accompanies physicians during patient examinations and documents encounters, diagnoses, symptoms, instructions, prescriptions, orders, and procedures. The position requires the ability to commute to Staten Island and Brooklyn and is full-time, Monday through Saturday, with shifts scheduled between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of Medical Scribe experience and/or training, or equivalent education.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish or Russian speaking.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth operation of a healthcare practice.
• Accompany the physician into patient examination rooms to transcribe or translate the history and physical exam, and accurately document the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present.
• List diagnoses and symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
• Transcribe patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
• Document procedures performed by the physician.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Adhere to employer work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
