About The Position

TEKsystems is currently hiring a Medical Scheduler in WALLINGFORD, CT for one of the top cardiology practices in CT! This role involves handling a large number of inbound calls from patients for all 10 of their locations, triaging calls to RN's when needed, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, insurance verification, patient registration, prior authorizations, and scheduling cardiology exams, screenings, and blood work.

Requirements

• Epic
• Prior medical scheduling experience (EKG, Stress Test, ETC)
• Team Player
• Intermediate Level experience

Responsibilities

• Handling a large number of inbound calls from patients for all 10 of their locations.
• Triaging calls to RN's when needed.
• Scheduling and rescheduling appointments for patients.
• Insurance verification
• Patient registration
• Prior Authorizations
• Scheduling Cardiology exams / screenings/ blood word
