The Team: Shields Health’s Medical Sales Representatives support the integrity of the organization with their commitment to excellence. The Representative seeks, establishes, maintains successful relationships with the referring community, and is a conduit between the community and the company. The Role: Achieve or exceed objectives set by management annually Establish a territory management plan. Establish and continually foster relationships with existing and potential referring physicians and their staff and fully explain marketing materials presented during the visit. Seek out new physician offices/groups to contact. Educate the referring community about developments in our imaging technology, e.g., new or improved equipment and/or studies available, and the advantages to them and their patients. Participate with other Shields Marketing Representatives to call on a specific region of physician offices and groups on a specified day and time (a.k.a. a Marketing Blitz). Track and monitor referral volume and identify current trends. Update Competitive Survey Report on a regular basis. Update the Shields Marketing Database as changes occur. (Hubspot) Participate in weekly conference calls and quarterly meetings with SHC Marketing team to report on progress and outstanding items. Participate in center monthly staff meetings to report on marketing initiatives and to relay comments from the referring community, if applicable. Attend and fully participate in quarterly Marketing Strategy Review Meetings Retrieve and respond to voicemail, text and email messages regularly throughout the day. Responsible for accurate and timely expense reporting Supply information for quarterly JV Board meetings.

Requirements

  • 2 years of prior medical sales experience
  • Skilled in written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Skilled in tactful persuasion.
  • Skilled in the use of automated computer systems and software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, which at times will involve evenings and weekends
  • Must be an organized self-starter
  • B.A. or B.S., concentration in Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration or Marketing.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to utilize computer and telephone systems.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle for short or long periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds.
  • Proof of a valid driver’s license, along with transportation to cover a geographic territory as well as automobile insurance.
  • Employee is responsible for making employer aware of status change of license, insurance or transportation plan.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
