About The Position

This role involves client-based project work related to requests for proposals (RFPs). The consultant will facilitate interactions among key stakeholders, oversee the analysis of RFP results, and create a compelling narrative from the collected data. Collaboration with internal and external contacts is essential to maintain project timelines, resolve issues, and enhance the client experience and value Mercer provides.

Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent required
Minimum 5 years of client services experience in insurance or consulting in health & benefits
Working knowledge of the Medical Request for Proposal process
Excellent project management experience
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Effective relationship-building and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
Proficient in MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

An active Health Producers license or be willing and able to obtain within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client teams
Assist with leading the coordination of the RFP process amongst multiple project teams
Serve as a key contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard client questions to improve the client experience
Work closely with external and internal partners to capture feedback and create resolutions to issues that translate into overall process enhancements
Manage and record all activities in the workflow system to ensure timely follow up by client, carriers, client team and delivery of final work product
