About The Position

The Medical Referral Specialist - PACE provides office and administrative support, including greeting and coordinating patient referrals, assisting with insurance screening, processing referrals, and performing general office duties. The role serves as a liaison among participants, caregivers, providers, specialists, and insurance representatives to facilitate seamless care coordination.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

• One year of scheduling experience in a health care setting.
• Experience using an electronic health record (EHR).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Fluency in additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Greet and coordinate patient referrals.
• Assist with insurance screening.
• Process referrals.
• Perform general office duties.
• Liaise with participants, caregivers, providers, specialists, and insurance representatives to facilitate care coordination.
