About The Position
This role involves the completion of release of information requests in accordance with HIPAA/confidentiality regulations and established departmental turnaround time. It also includes the accurate and timely completion of Birth Certificates/IPHIS abstraction in accordance with state mandates, and ensuring the data integrity of patient medical records across hospital-wide patient information systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA/confidentiality regulations.
- Familiarity with state mandates for Birth Certificates/IPHIS abstraction.
- Understanding of data integrity principles for patient medical records.
