About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join their team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. This role involves performing administrative duties, supporting program and staff needs, and handling routine clerical tasks. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient files (both paper and electronic), and creating spreadsheets and reports. The position requires working with patient consults, auditing consults and grievance logs/roll-up reports, and extensive use of Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum of one (1) year of administrative or office experience required
Must have experience with medical terminology
Good communication and organizational skills
Professional phone etiquette
Accurate typing skills
Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Working knowledge of spreadsheets and database programs preferred

Responsibilities
