The Neighborhood Retirement Community is a beautiful CCRC in Rio Rancho. We are currently looking for a Unit Secretary to join our team! What you'll be doing: You will be responsible for receiving and coordinating incoming calls while ensuring that resident and visitor’s needs are being met in a timely and efficient manner. You will maintain a high level of customer service and participate in person-centered, individualized care activities while assisting in the continuity of the exchange of information between departments.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or a healthcare environment preferred.
Exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills, especially with cognitively impaired residents.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with others as well as function independently.
Knowledge of and follow through with universal precautions.

Responsibilities

Receiving and coordinating incoming calls
Ensuring that resident and visitor’s needs are being met in a timely and efficient manner
