About The Position
This position is located at Pamlico Correctional in Bayboro, North Carolina, a medium-custody prison for male offenders that serves as a healthcare hub. The facility has a maximum capacity of 732 offenders. The Medical Records Assistant uses general knowledge of medical office practices and procedures to review, verify, complete, record, and balance records, reports, and figures. The position reports to the Nurse Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and two years of related administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- General knowledge of medical office practices and procedures.
