Medical Receptionist - Morristown, TN
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist to provide excellent customer service, check in patients, receive payments, and assist in daily operations. The role involves maintaining a friendly, professional attitude, offering a "white glove" experience, and guiding new patients through their intake process. Responsibilities also include collecting drug screen samples, maintaining financial records, coordinating with medical staff, and providing clerical support. Crossroads Treatment Centers is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, operating outpatient clinics across multiple states.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred
- Lived Addiction experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Check in patients
- Receive payments
- Assist in daily operations
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude towards patients
- Offer a "white glove" experience
- Provide an exceptional experience by guiding new patients through their intake process
- Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed
- Maintain daily financial records and reports
- Coordinate with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes
- Provide clerical and logistical support
- Oversee patient accounts and financial responsibilities
