About The Position

This role at Vanderbilt Health's Bedford Emergency Services is a PRN (as needed) position. The Medical Receptionist will coordinate nursing station activities, perform clerical and reception duties, requisition supplies, equipment, and services as directed, and manage communications between customers and staff, adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones in appropriate manner.
  • Input data into computer.
  • Scans medical record into EPIC system.
  • Schedule appointments, physician/consults, coordinates transfers and EMS transports.
