Medical Receptionist - Abingdon, Pounding Mill and Wise, VA
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their team. Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder since 2005, offering accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options. They are dedicated to combating the opioid epidemic and helping individuals achieve recovery. Their comprehensive approach is considered the gold standard in care for opioid use disorder and has been proven to reduce overdose deaths and promote long-term recovery. Crossroads provides critical services across the U.S., serving over 26,500 patients in outpatient, office-based clinics located in Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.
- Lived Addiction experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service by checking in patients and receiving payments.
- Assisting in daily operations.
- Maintaining a friendly, professional attitude towards patients and offering a "white glove" experience.
- Guiding new patients through their intake process to provide an exceptional experience.
- Collecting urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed.
- Maintaining daily financial records and reports.
- Coordinating with medical and clinical staff to arrange intakes.
- Providing clerical and logistical support.
- Overseeing patient accounts and financial responsibilities.
