Medical Receptionist - Danville and Martinsville, VA
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist to provide excellent customer service, check in patients, receive payments, and assist in daily operations. The ideal candidate will maintain a friendly, professional attitude, offer a "white glove" experience, and guide new patients through their intake process. This role also involves collecting samples for drug screens, maintaining financial records, coordinating with medical staff, and providing clerical support. Crossroads Treatment Centers is dedicated to treating patients with opioid use disorder through evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT), aiming to combat the opioid epidemic and support long-term recovery. They have a significant reach, serving over 26,500 patients across multiple states with outpatient, office-based clinics.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Customer Service experience in a fast paced environment preferred
- Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred
- Lived Addiction experience is a plus

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Check in patients

- Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed
- Maintains daily financial records and reports
- Coordinates with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes
- Provides clerical and logistical support
- Oversees patient accounts and financial responsibilities
