Clinics are located near Stone Oak Parkway & Westover Hills. This position will also get cross-trained in other areas of the business.

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Must have experience working on a computer.
• Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must have the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
• Must be very detail orientated
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task
• Must have excellent computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a medical office environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional manner
• Register patient and check insurance eligibility using the appropriate eligibility system
• Obtain appropriate co-payment for service
• Answer telephones promptly and courteously
• Transfer, conference and park calls as appropriate
• Route calls according to department protocol
• Access, understand and accurately make appointments using the scheduling screens within the appropriate system
• Oversee waiting area and ensure that all patients are checked in
• Other duties as assigned.
