The MPA will also verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure accurate recording of transactions. Additionally, this role may involve obtaining prior authorizations for medications, durable medical equipment, procedures, and diagnostic tests for all patients, including workers' compensation and commercial payers, and may coordinate surgical scheduling. The MPA will collaborate with supervisors and peers to ensure patient and customer satisfaction, aiming to deliver a best-in-class experience across the site(s).
