About The Position

Quantum Vision Centers is seeking a Medical Optometrist to join its multi-specialty ophthalmology team. The position is primarily based in Maryville, Illinois, with a rotating schedule at offices in Granite City, Swansea, Belleville, and Godfrey. Approximately 85% of the role is medical, focused on post-operative care, diabetic management, stable glaucoma, and co-management with the surgical team. Some routine care is included, but the position is predominantly medical. The practice includes nine MDs and four ODs across multiple locations, with subspecialties in retina, cornea, cataract, and oculoplastics. Medical offices are equipped with visual fields, Optos, and fundus photography. Tech support is provided, with scribe support as volume builds. The role offers an opportunity to practice in a surgical, medically driven environment with MD collaboration and internal referrals. The schedule is Monday through Friday, plus one rotating half-day Saturday per month. Requirements

Must be comfortable managing stable glaucoma.

Responsibilities
