About The Position
Precision Vision is seeking an Optometrist to provide full-scope optometry across two locations. The practice has served the greater Oklahoma City metro and surrounding communities for over 40 years, providing comprehensive and surgical eye care. Its team uses current techniques and equipment to prescribe glasses and contact lenses and diagnose vision-threatening conditions. The position includes medical eye examinations; diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular disorders; post-operative care in collaboration with ophthalmologists; routine vision care; and interpretation of ancillary testing results.
Responsibilities
- Practice full-scope optometry between two locations.
- Perform medical eye exams.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular disorders, including dry eyes, Meibomian gland dysfunction, and glaucoma.
- Provide post-operative care for cataract, oculoplastic, LASIK, and MIGS surgeries in collaboration with ophthalmologists.
- Provide routine vision care, including comprehensive vision exams, refractions, contact lens examinations, fittings, and follow-up.
- Interpret results of ancillary testing, including Octopus and Humphrey visual fields, Optovue and Cirrus OCT, Optos, LipiView, TearLab, and iTrace.
