About The Position
Full-time position with Lifespan Physician Group, Inc. d/b/a Brown Health Medical Group, based at Rhode Island Hospital, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI, and The Miriam Hospital, 164 Summit Avenue, Providence, RI. The Medical Oncologist treats cancer using systemic therapies—medicines that travel through the whole body—including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. Shifts and schedules are as assigned. The listed work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an eight-hour daily schedule.
Requirements
- U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent.
- Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Oncology.
- Eligibility for a Rhode Island medical license.
Responsibilities
- Treat cancer using systemic therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy.
