About The Position

Provide medical oncology care to adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings in Grove City, Ohio. The service setting is 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient, with an average clinic volume of 16–20 patients per day and 2–4 hospital patients per day. The role includes clinical work and call coverage, with a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule. Four weeks per month is highly preferred. Call is by beeper at a 1:4 ratio and includes nights and weekends. Coverage is supplemental and is needed ASAP on an ongoing basis. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. Temporary privileges are available; credentialing typically takes 3–6 months, with temporary privileges potentially expediting the start.

Requirements

• Board certified.
• Ohio or IMLC license.
• Active DEA registration.
• ACLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Clean background required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oncology care to adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Manage an outpatient clinic seeing 16–20 patients per day.
• Provide inpatient consultations for 2–4 patients per day.
• Participate in the 1:4 call schedule, including night and weekend call.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Use the Epic EMR.
