About The Position

The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC) is seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist specializing in Genitourinary Cancers. This role is based at Lahey Clinic in Burlington and Peabody, MA. The position offers the opportunity to serve as a regional expert in GU cancers within the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Cancer Network, practice at a world-renowned tertiary medical center, and contribute to a leading-edge research hub. The role includes a faculty position for teaching medical students and residents, and serving as Core Faculty for a new Hematology-Oncology fellowship program. There is also an opportunity for academic appointment at UMass-Chan School of Medicine. LHMC is a physician-led, multi-disciplinary group practice and a tertiary care hospital known for pioneering medical treatments.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Medical Oncology.
  • Subspecialty focus/interest in GU Oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a regional expert in GU cancers within the BILH Cancer Network.
  • Provide patient care at Lahey Clinic Burlington and Peabody.
  • Teach UMass-Chan medical students and LHMC internal medicine residents.
  • Serve as a Core Faculty Member for the new LHMC Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.
  • Contribute to the robust clinical research program at LHMC, a main member of SWOG and NRG.
