Medical Office LPN-Winchester General Surgery
About The Position
The Medical Office LPN performs patient care responsibilities in support of multiple health care providers and carries out clinical, technical, and clerical duties to ensure quality patient care. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the LPN collaborates with physicians, other healthcare providers, support staff, and other disciplines to plan and coordinate patient care. The LPN maintains current knowledge and skill in technical procedures, complies with regulatory and accrediting standards, and holds an active Massachusetts LPN license. Staff are required to be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
Requirements
- Nursing degree.
- Current license to practice nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
- Maintain BLS certification.
- Excellent communication skills to educate and assist patients and interact with providers and staff.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Medical office experience is preferred.
