About The Position

Most people think this is an Office Manager role. It isn't. You're the person responsible for making an entire clinic succeed. At NIVA Health, every clinic operates like its own business. Our Medical Office Directors don't simply keep the lights on—they build high-performing teams, create exceptional patient experiences, drive operational results, and ensure the clinic consistently performs at its best. You'll work alongside providers, but you'll own the business side of the clinic. If something isn't working, it's your responsibility to fix it. If performance slips, you'll know why. If the team needs coaching, you'll lead it. If patients aren't having an exceptional experience, you'll change it. This role is for someone who naturally takes ownership, makes decisions confidently, and enjoys being accountable for results.

Requirements

• 3+ years leading operations within a medical practice, specialty clinic, dental practice, medspa, wellness center, or similar healthcare environment
• Experience leading, coaching, and managing teams
• Strong understanding of clinic operations, scheduling, staffing, and workflow management
• Experience using KPIs to improve operational performance
• Confidence making decisions and holding others accountable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with EHR systems and healthcare operations

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree is welcomed but not essential if you've built a track record of leading successful healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead every aspect of daily clinic operations, including: Leading, coaching, and developing your clinic team
• Creating a culture of accountability and high performance
• Driving patient satisfaction and service excellence
• Managing scheduling, staffing, workflows, and daily operations
• Monitoring clinic KPIs, productivity, revenue, and operational performance
• Solving problems before they become bigger problems
• Partnering closely with providers to ensure the clinic runs smoothly
• Continuously improving how the clinic operates
