About The Position

Marshall Dennehey, a leading Am Law 200 civil defense law firm, is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its litigation team in the Philadelphia, PA office. The firm focuses on defending Medical Malpractice and catastrophic loss cases. This role offers a collaborative environment with intentional mentorship and a focus on attorney growth. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team of 8 lawyers, primarily under the guidance of 2 shareholders, handling traditional medical malpractice, catastrophic casualty, and long-term care cases. The firm is committed to hiring associates who are eager to learn, develop their legal skills, and advance within the firm.

Requirements

At least two (2) years of experience in medical malpractice defense.
Interest in defending high exposure claims.
Strong analytical thinking skills.
Strong legal writing skills.
Strong research skills.
Strong communication skills.
Desire to learn and develop legal skills.
Desire to advance within the firm.

Nice To Haves

Experience in defending catastrophic casualty cases.
