About The Position

Performs assays accurately and promptly on patient samples using a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to support physician diagnosis and treatment. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and safety, environmental, and infectious-control standards to help ensure the laboratory complies with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related discipline.
• Upon hire, hold one of the following certifications: National Medical Laboratory Scientist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology; National Medical Technologist from the American Medical Technologists; National Medical Technologist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology; National Technologist in Microbiology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology; or National Medical Laboratory Scientist from the American Medical Technologists.
