About The Position
Performs high complexity and moderate complexity testing accurately and efficiently. Perform blood bank testing including ABO/Rh typing, antibody identification, and cross-matching. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of test results. Adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards (CAP, AABB, CLIA). Perform quality control and equipment maintenance. Assist in inventory management of blood products and reagents. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other laboratory staff to ensure timely transfusion support. Participate in continuing education and competency assessments.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science
- Certification by ASCP (MLT or higher) preferred
- One year of working in Blood Bank preferred

- Strong understanding of immunohematology principles.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in emergency situations.
