About The Position
A Medical Laboratory Technician obtains or receives specimens and performs clinical laboratory tests using standardized procedures. The role performs quality control and preventive maintenance, interprets results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and validates all data obtained. The MLT works independently and organizes work to meet established deadlines.
Requirements
- 2-year associate's degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
- ASCP or AMT eligible.
- Computer skills, including use and navigation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
