About The Position
This position is for a Medical Lab Technician at UW Health's SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford. The role is 100% FTE, full-time, with an evening shift from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. It also includes rotating weekends and holidays. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical technology.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience.
- Medical Laboratory Technician certification by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or similar agency preferred.
