Medical Imaging Specialist - Radiology - Part-time/Days
About The Position
Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking a part-time Medical Imaging Specialist (MIS) to join their radiology team. The MIS is an unlicensed multi-skilled worker who supports patient care by performing specific technical tasks and support functions as delegated by a licensed provider. The care provided by the MIS is supervised by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. This role is ideal for individuals interested in utilizing technology to aid in caring for children in need of radiologic services. The team uses state-of-the-art technology to perform diagnostic quality imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department populations, contributing to making kids better today and healthier tomorrow.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- Minimum six (6) months Pediatric experience (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner.

- Program Graduate of a patient care program (CNA, MA, or EMT)
- MA - Medical Assistant
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
- EMT - Emergency Medical Technician
- Bilingual Skills
