About The Position

This is a full-time, home-based position for a Medical Executive Assistant within a Healthcare Services company in the US. The role involves managing patient communications, scheduling, administrative support, and assisting with billing and medical records.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing patient calls and inquiries
  • Proficiency in scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Experience with appointment reminders and pre-visit coordination
  • Skills in general administrative support, correspondence, and document management
  • Experience with patient intake, medical records requests, and authorization tracking
  • Familiarity with billing tasks such as charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
  • Experience in following up on outstanding balances and accounts receivable
  • Proficiency in entering and updating patient information in an EMR system
  • Ability to maintain organized and up-to-date patient records

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound/outbound patient calls and triage inquiries
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Send appointment reminders and coordinate pre-visit instructions
  • Provide general administrative support including correspondence and document management
  • Assist with patient intake, medical records requests, and authorization tracking
  • Support billing tasks including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and support accounts receivable
  • Accurately enter and update patient information in the Office EMR system
